The event with over 300 competitors was a well run tournament giving the RMA students a chance to show their skills and give their best.
RMA instructor Sensei Tressa Young gave everything she had and her skills left her with the results she wanted. She won first in every division including musical open, musical weapons, traditional forms, traditional weapons and point sparring. The second degree black belt went on to compete in the junior black belt grands division winning forms grand champion.
Shodan-ho (advance brown) belt Samantha M won first in four divisions including musical open, traditional weapons, traditional forms and sparring. She also won second place in the musical open weapons division.
Blue belt Alysha S-P won second in sparring, seventh in weapons and was a finalist in the forms division.
Green belt William M won first in sparring and third in the forms division. Red belt Asher A won fifth place in traditional weapons.
Keegan S-P won second in sparring, fourth in weapons and was a finalist in the forms division.
Orange belt Liam N won second in sparring and was a finalist in the forms and weapons division. Orange belt Sale B was a finalist in the forms, weapons and sparring division.
All 8 martial artists had a great time enjoying the experience and are looking forward to the next event.
